Waking up every morning to the sound of breaking waves, the wonderful view of the ocean bordered by an almost endless coastline and seeing the beautiful green of the nature conservancy being the home to a wealth of birds and bush buck families, is a blessing and inspiration for each day.
We want to share this with our guests, offering them the opportunity to enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of Dana Bay. This is a place to relax and find comfort in things that really matter.

Welcome to Dana Bay!
Dana Bay has more than 320 sunny days each year.
Second only to Hawaii, Mossel Bay has the mildest all-year climate in the world.
The average monthly rainfall changes by no more than 20mm from the driest to the wettest month.
The average temperature changes by no more than 6 degrees Celcius throughout the year.
Dana Bay sits at the beginning of the 200km long Garden Route which ends at Storms River and is an important stop-over to start exploring the Garden Route systematically.is a proclaimed urban conservancy protecting animals and endemic plants in the town.
Erika27 is situated next to a green belt of the conservancy, with lots of Bush and Grys bucks to be seen.
The outside balcony of Erika27 offers a wonderful view over the conservancy and over about 30km of the Southern-Cape coastline.
This is also an ideal spot to watch the annual migration of Southern Right Whales from the end of June to mid November.
Your hosts Lucas and Anna are also staying in the house on the first floor with guests accommodated on the ground level.
