House Manual

Guests are kindly requested to note the following about the house:

1. The hot water geysers for the house are located on the side of the house close to Bedroom D. As a consequence of this,
it may take up to 2 minutes for hot water to reach the bathroom of Bedroom A on the other side. Sorry for this inconvenience!
2. When stepping out of the shower, please step onto the floor towel to prevent slipping.
3. Please keep the door on the back side of the bedroom locked at all times. This is for security purposes but also to prevent the
door from slamming due to sudden drafts through the front door of the bedroom.
4. The family dining room is on the first floor for breakfast, lunch and dinner as on offer. To reach the dining room you may use the
back door of the bedroom and the staircase inside the house.
5. To get access through the entrance gate to the premises and to receive the bedroom keys, please phone Lucas.
6. We are available 24/7 to make your stay as pleasant and easy-going as possible. Phone Lucas for assistance with enquiries at any time.
7. Lucas and Anna, as your hosts, are also staying in the house on the first floor. Our guests are accommodated on the ground level.
8. Safe transport can be provided to the George Airport or the Mossel Bay town centre at reasonable rates.
9. The WiFi network name is NETGEAR17 and the network password will be given to you by Lucas.
10. Please do not hang clothes on or close to the heater in order to avoid the risk of a fire.
11. A paid laundry service for clothes and other items is available should you require this. Lucas will facilitate this.
12. Breakfast is served between 07h00 and 09h30 in the dining room on the first floor. Guests should please specify a time for breakfast.
13. Please switch on the light outside your bedroom when leaving the room in the evening. Please switch off the light when returning.
14. Cars parked on the premises in front of the house are protected by electronic surveillance.
15. The property is protected by infra red beams.
16. Fresh towels and bed linen will be provided for guests when checking in for their stay with us.
17. For guests staying more than one night, we will, to protect the environment, provide fresh towels and bed linen after every 3x24 hours
unless requested otherwise by the guest.
